After putting way too many miles on my current DD, and having a 30 mile commute a day that isn't getting any shorter. I'm considering getting a cheap beater to drive to work and take those miles. The commute is all highway, so no normal wear tear. I've never owned or even driven a Honda. Doesn't seem to bad of a deal and will definitely get better gas mileage. I can't tell if this is a deal or not. Any suggestions? Things to look out for?

Well, first thing I'd look out for is the fact that the guy doesn't even realize that he has a Civic and not an Accord.

You might want to start by buying from a seller who actually posts photos of a car that match the description of what they're selling.
Also this is a SCAM. That's way too cheap for a 2007 Accord. If you express interest in this you'll get some story about how they're out of the country and their friend will show you the car, they'll ask you to wire money, etc. They post a high-demand car for a super cheap price to lure suckers in.

Haha thanks. I would probably avoid this guy, but I've been to where that picture is. Maybe it's fake? Idk, but if real, don't know if to pounce or not. I would definitely have my mechanic check it first.

You won't have anything to pounce on or a car to take to your mechanic, because this car doesn't exist. This is a scam to steal bank account info.

Thanks. I was really curious, sans the wrong car. I'll remove that post with a better one. I wondered if it could have wrecked, a really old picture or whatever.

Either someone told the person they had the wrong model name or I am seeing a different CL as I am seeing an ad for a Civic, and with 203,000 on it I would think it was CP even if it wasn't a scam.
